Alpinestars S-MX Plus Racing Boot are a high performance boot designed for road racing or track days these boots are definitely designed for sport riding. The exterior of this boot is made to provide a high level of protection from abrasion and impact. Has a high modulus PU injection shin plate protector. The forward lining of the boot is synthetic and laminated with open cell foam. The ankle and leg areas have a highly breathable lining for comfort. A U shaped calf protector protects internal and external ankle/calf area. The top of the boot features a recessed buckle area for additional calf protection. A replaceable ratchet buckle closure features hidden strap for security and is integrated with the calf slider. Features a wide ventilated heel protector combined with shock absorbing padded insert and self molding internal ankle protectors. The Alpinestars smx plus racing boot features replaceable aluminum heel sliders on the rear and sides of the ankle guard to absorb shock and impact during a fall or slide. A patented internal ankle brace made from shock absorbing material is integrated in to these boots. The upper boot construction is lorica and leather for flexibility and strength. The instep flex area has extended thermoformed bellows for soft back and forth flex. The toe sliders and shift pad are made from injected PU for protection and wear resistance; toe sliders are flexible and replaceable. Features a speed lacing system made with Kevlar laces which helps to give a more precise and comfortable fit. Also has a unique protective zipper closure with a reflective piping. The sole of this boot is made with a new design to improve feeling between the riders foot and the foot pegs of the motorcycle. Available in European sizes 36 to 48.
