Hard Krome Pipes for Harley Davidson and Metric Cruisers.
Hard Krome pipes are available for both metric cruisers and Harley Davidson cycles. We currently only carry metric cruiser exhaust systems by Hard Krome. This manufacturers exhaust systems are made with true double wall construction to prevent bluing due to the heat that is generated in a motorcycle exhaust. Everyone of these systems is not only made to look good but too also perform to the highest industry standards. These pipes are designed to improve midrange punch on your cycle to give your fellow bikers a run for their money. Hard Krome believes that bigger pipes are better therefore their pipes tend to have a diameter of 2.5 to 3 inches. A Hard Krome system will give your bike a unique sound, which is a gutsy tone that sets them apart from other pipes. When you are running with a Hard Krome system a good twist of the throttle will let everyone know that you are running a Hard Krome exhaust system on your ride.
If you do decide to go with a Hard Krome systems the manufacturer recommends that you use a Dynojet Stage jet kit if you are running carburetors. If you have a fuel injected system a power commander and having the fuel injection remapped to adjust for the pipe. If this is not done your bike could be running to lean and will cause a pop on deceleration. The manufacturer also recommends that you replace the crush gaskets to ensure an air tight seal between the cylinder head and the head pipe junction. Crush gaskets are an OEM part and will need to be ordered from your dealer. We do no carry this item in our inventory.

The 2.5" American Classic Straights with Hard-Tips are a classically designed mid length system. The outer pipe has a diameter of 2.5 inches and an inside diameter of of 1.75 inches. This system features CNC machined straight cut Hard Tip Billet end caps. You can also customize the end caps by ordering machine tapered or slash cut end caps. The baffles on these pipes unlike on some systems is not removable.
Hard-Krome 2.75" Equalizer Staggered Straights with Hard Tips have equal length headers for maximum performance. The outer diameter pipe on this system measures 2.75 and the inside diameter is 1.75 inches on most models. The stock end caps on this motorcycle exhaust are CNC machined straight cut end caps, however you can opt to purchase tapered or slash cut end caps if you wish. Another option on this system is to go with either perforated or straight thru baffles to change the sound and performance of the system. All Hard Krome systems come with a one year guarantee to not blue. Due to the true double wall construction Hard Krome can offer this warrantee to its customers.
