Icon motorcycle helmets are quickly becoming one of the
most sought after motorcycle helmets by sport riders. There are several lines of
Icon helmets available. You have the Alliance SS line and the Mainframe
Line. These are the two main lines by Icon. Underneath those you have a couple
of categories. The Mainframe line has Several premier helmets in it the Skull
fusion, Manic and Kitty Fusion or gloss are part of that line. These helmets
have a very unique design making them quite different from your average graphic
helmet. The Kitty Fusion is definitely a girlie helmet. Its a pink helmet with
white type flames and a image of a cowgirl with two guns in her hand. This Icon
helmet is perfect for any female riders you know. The Icon Skull Fusion is more
my flavor helmet. This helmet has a skull design and the finish is the new
fusion finish that Icon is using its a combination finish between a regular
graphic helmet and their Rubatone finish which is a matte rubberized type
finish. The Skull helmet is one of those road warrior type helmets. In the
Mainframe line you also have the Hooligan line. Hooligan helmets are
based on the same technology that is used in the Mainframe line. These are two
tone helmets with a flame graphic. We currently have 6 different color
variations of the Hooligan available. The other Mainframe line is the Halo line.
Halo helmets come with a fusion or a gloss finish. Halo helmets also use the
same technology as all mainframe helmets. The last one in this series is the Solids
and Bling series which is a solid color series with some gloss and
some matte or Rubatone finish helmets. The Bling helmets have gold accents in a
few areas other then that they are the same as any Solid helmet Mainframe
motorcycle helmets were designed with the riders safety and comfort in mind. The
shell of these helmets is made with a shell that is a blend of fiberglass and
Dyneema for lightweight comfort without sacrificing safety. Superior airflow is
achieved in these helmets by a venting system using ram air vents combined with
a super vent cooling system to keep the rider cool. Shield fogging is prevented
by a built in chin venting system and a breath guard which is removable. Shields
can be switched easily with out the need for any tools. The Alliance Series of
helmets by Icon is made of a State of the art polycarbonate helmet designed to
meet the demands of today's riders. This helmet has an advanced ventilation
system which features dorsal super vents that bring fresh air in to the helmet.
Chin vents are also used on this Icon helmets to add to ventilation. A quick
release shield allows for a quick switching of shields with out requiring any
tools. A Multi density Nilex liner is provide for extra comfort. All of
Icons motorcycle helmets listed above are DOT and Snell certified. Icon also
produces various motorcycle apparel like: Gloves, Boots, Jackets, and Pants
mainly geared towards the sport rider.
