Michelin Pilot® Road Performance Sport Touring Rear Radial Tires features a design with two 75° plies bound by longitudinal zero-degree crown-ply. The casing promotes comfort, durability and consistent handling under changing conditions. Constructed of a versatile rubber mix with 100% silica reinforcing fillers which help combat premature tire wear and reduce internal friction and excessive heat. Progressive, stable handling from semi-elliptic tire profile. Tread pattern wears evenly and provides superb traction in wet weather. The tapered grooves channel water away from contact patch. The letter code in the tire size and rating column is also on the sidewall of the tire and the tire label; tires are the same size, but compound and construction will vary to suit the weight, horsepower and handling characteristics of the model for which each tire was designed. W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph.
