AGV Motorcycle Helmets.
AGV Helmets are the result of 60 years of hard work and design. Valentino Rossi the 7 time world champion has been wearing a AGV helmet since the beginning of his career. By 1953 this helmet manufacturer introduced its first fiberglass vulcanized helmet. IN 1954 they advanced on to producing the first 100 percent fiberglass open faced helmets. In 1985 Nelson Piquet takes part in the Formula I World Championships wearing a brand new kevlar / dupont fiberglass full face AGV helmet. Many rider s that have made motorcycle history as well as auto racing history have done so wearing an AGV motorcycle helmet. Here are some of the most well known names: Giacomo Agostini, Barry Sheene, Kenny Roberts, Johnny Cecotto, Angel Nieto, Marco Lucchinelli, Franco Uncini, Fausto Gresini, Niki Lauda, Emerson Fittipaldi, Randy Mamola, and Luca Cadalora. Becuase of this this company has been involved in over 130 World Champion Ship Titles. In 1995 Valentino Rossi adds his name to the list and has won 7 World Champion Ship titles wearing an AGV helmet. In 2002 AGV became part of an important Belgian Multi national group that already owned the brand known as Lazer. This group in conjunction with AGV, Lazer and MDS now comprise the 4th largest worldwide producer in the sports helmet market.
