Motorcycle Floorboards and Forward Controls for Cruisers.
Floorboards are a very useful addition to any cruiser bike. Floorboards are a great way to add to the custom look of your bike as well as adding comfort for the rider. A good set of boards will give you a place to rest your feet when you are out on long road trips. There are also some floorboards that come with a heel toe shifter, which allows you to shift gear in two ways. We currently do not have toe heel shifters on our site but they are available for special order. We currently have floorboards by Jardine and Cobra available. We will be adding more brands for this item in the future. Cobra and Jardine boards are mainly designed for Metric cruisers. We also carry floorboards for the passenger. These are generally designed a bit different then the front ones. Some are exactly like the front ones for a more continuous look on the motorcycle. Jardine makes some passenger floorboards that are much smaller then the fronts for the passenger, however they are much wider and more comfortable then your standard foot pegs which can get quite uncomfortable on longer rides.
We also carry forward controls for metric cruisers. Forward Controls are a great way to change the whole feel of your bike as well as giving it a more chopper like feel. I have some custom Forward controls on my Bike and they definitely have helped give it more of a chopper look and feel. Forward controls are basically just what they sounds like. Your shifter, brakes, basically all your leg controls are moved from a mid engine position to a forward position. This changes your weight distribution and position on your bike. Forward controls are a great addition to any cruiser. Jardine makes a great set of forward controls made from billet aluminum, which will drastically improve your riding position.
