Akrapovic Slip-On Series with Hexagonal Mufflers for YZF-R6 06 come with your choice of carbon-fiber or titanium outer sleeve and feature a carbon-fiber outlet cap to match the design of each bike. The perforated inner sleeve and inlet cap are made of titanium. The joint of the inlet cap is milled on a state-of-the-art CNC machine and connected by high-quality silicon-shielded tempered spring. To obtain minimum size and weight with unmatched durability, the front rosettes are manufactured on a CNC machine from a solid block of special aluminum alloy. This series includes a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon-fiber muffler clamp. The conical or cylindrical link pipe is made from stainless steel or titanium. The shape of the link pipe is determined on maximum performance specs. Some models include a carbon-fiber heat shield. Available in Stainless//Titanium and Stainless//Titanium Megaphone. Megaphone model is for racing use only, no baffle included.
